Let’s face it! Currywurst is not a typical British dish, but some weeks ago 3rd ESO English students had the opportunity to try this delicious German, or better said, Berlin fast-food classic as the final task of their project “Travelling blogs”.
As we all know, our students visited their Wiesbaden friends after the Easter holidays, and we they returned to school they had to work on a project about travelling in the English subject.
One of their tasks was to talk about what expectations they had had before going to the Elly-Heus school, and how they had fulfilled them or not, and to my surprise, one of the students was sorry because she had not been able to taste the currywurst….so, no sooner said than done! I promised Gabriela that she (and the rest of students, of course) were going to have some currywurst in the end of the project, once we had seen their blogs about travelling.
As you can see in the photos, they finished the sausages really fast!
It was really funny to see them enjoying the bread and the sausages and the rest of students (none of them belonging to the subject) smelling and searching for the leftovers (but there weren’t!!!).
